Cortina de chat: Oculta los mensajes de Twitch Chat hasta que sean aprobados por los moderadores
Chat Curtain is a Chrome add-on developed by StoneMoney that allows Twitch streamers to control and moderate their chat messages. This free extension modifies the Twitch chat to have an approved-messages-only view, making it perfect for new releases or streams that might be prone to spoilers.
In active mode, also known as "curtains closed," only messages approved by the channel's moderators will appear in the chat. This helps maintain a controlled and spoiler-free environment for viewers. On the other hand, in inactive mode or "curtains open," all chat messages will be shown. If you are a moderator, an "approval checkmark" will appear alongside any message, and you can click the checkmark to allow it to be visible to users in active mode.
Toggling between modes is easy, simply click the curtain icon located to the left of the chat list icon. It's important to note that this add-on works on the client-side, meaning only users who have installed the extension will see its effects.
To get started with Chat Curtain, simply install the extension and open the extension options. From there, you can log in and connect with Twitch, which will enable the extension to request your list of moderators and allow you to use it on your channel. It's worth mentioning that only moderators of the channel can approve messages, so they must also log in with Twitch in the extension settings.
Some additional features of Chat Curtain include instant approval of messages with no text (only emotes), messages appearing in the order they were chatted (not in the order of approval), and not requiring multiple approvals for identical messages from the same user. However, it's important to note that the extension doesn't work when "channel surfing," and you need to directly load the page or refresh the stream page for it to function properly.
